Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital in London on Saturday, December 18, 2010, Enrico Michele Riva of London passed away at age 85. Born in Gaiarine Treviso Italy 1925, Enrico married Imelda Piccinin and moved to Canada to raise their loving children Angelo (Kelly) Riva and Florence (Ross) Mele. Dear Nonno to Nicholas, Nathan, Natalie, Michael and Stephanie. Sadly missed by his sisters Lina, Maria, Regina,Rina and Adelfina. Predeceased by his brother Livio (2008). Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Funeral Mass will take place at St. John the Divine Catholic Church, 390 Baseline Road West, on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Woodland Cemetery. Donations in memory of Enrico, to Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank all the staff of the on the 5th floor palliative care unit and Sherry Vergillo and Ben from Comcare for the excellent care and compassion shown to Enrico and his family during this difficult time.
