Congratulations on a full and wonderful life. One of the fondest memories of my grandmother was “ In the early 90’s Nora and I were coming home from a night out on the town. It was about 2:30 am, when I was driving down Bronson Ave.(Ottawa). I saw a campervan about 150 meters ahead of me, 2:30 am – a campervan, it did not seem right. I had never seen Gram driving a van, and did not know she was on her way to Ottawa. I was about 20 meters behind the van when I turned to Nora and said “Just a feeling but I think that’s my grandmother”, I pulled along side and sure enough it was. Another thirty seconds and she would have driven past the last exit to my parents home. Lost and on her way out to the Airport. That was the kind of connection we had, the right place the right time. Thanks for letting me in. John M

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Remembering all the good times and stories . Most vivid in my mind is the teasing that Daddy ( Lisle ) and Auntie seemed to excel at. Each one always tried to outdo the other with their tales of earlier years. And what tales they were! I too remember that camper van, it even met me at the airport on one of my trips to Ottawa. I can still hear Auntie & Uncles laughter when I realized what my transportation to the farm was. Take care and give each other a hug for me. Miles apart, but always in my heart.

Grandma Meharey, as I knew her was always full of energy and humour. I have fond memories of her coming to Ottawa, watching John skydive, and our visit to London to see her. She will be missed and my condolences to all the family. Nora
