Emira Mikica Zecevic

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emira Zecevic, MA retired architect, on Tuesday, April 18^th, 2023. Emira was a former Director of the Institute for Protection of Cultural Heritage in Sarajevo, the beloved wife of late Dr. Ljubisa Zecevic, former professor at the University of Sarajevo. Loving mother of Dr. Aleksandra Zecevic, associate professor at Western University. Dear sister of Sejda Pozun-Bujic, and aunt of Vaja Tucker and Jana Pozun-Pajovic. Sadly missed by the Zecevic, van Rhijn, Pozun, Tucker, Pajovic, Buljubasic, Osipov, and Bozalo families. Emira will be remembered for her love, care, kindness, inclusion, witty humor, and elegance. The family would like to thank all compassionate and carrying people who provided care to Emira in her final years. A celebration of Emira’s life will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
