Ellen Pickering (née Nimmo)

After a courageous battle with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), surrounded by her family at Westmount Gardens, Ellen Pickering passed away in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Bill Pickering for 54 years. Dearly loved by her children Todd (Jane) and Fiona (Steven). Proud grandmother of Liam, MacGregor, Ellis, Eric and Colin. Beloved sister-in-law of George and Sheila Pickering. Cherished aunt to Garry Nimmo, Sharon Nimmo and the Late Gordon Nimmo and Mark Pickering and Lisa Pickering. Predeceased by her parents, and by her twin brother William. Ellen will be dearly missed by family and friends in Canada and Scotland. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the LAMBETH LEGION HALL (upstairs), 7097 Kilbourne Road, Lambeth, on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 1:00 ~ 4:00 p.m. A light lunch buffet to be served. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ellen are asked to consider The War Amps or a charity of your choice.
