PERCY, Elizabeth “Betty” – Peacefully at University Hospital, London on Friday, December 31, 2010. Elizabeth “Betty” Percy in her 88th year. Beloved wife for 68 years of Les; dear mother of Jeffrey (David) and Gail. Loving grandmother of Shane (Mike); Jay (Laura) and great-grandmother of Madeline Elizabeth. Survived by her sister Veronica and predeceased by her brother Terry. Elizabeth was a woman of style who will be remembered by the many ladies she advised while a fashion consultant at Eaton’s and The Room and also by those who were lucky enough to have her sing at their wedding or on any occasion where her passion for music, song and dance shone through. Many thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Cardiac Unit at University Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Wednesday, January 5th, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment of cremated remains will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a donation in Betty’s memory are asked to consider the Ontario SPCA. We have a strong belief in life after death and we are sure that right now Betty and Kathleen are having a wonderful re-union along with Ronnie, Evelyn, Bill, Nana and Terry.
