So sorry to hear about Mrs. Copland (it still doesn't sound right for me to call her Eleanor). She was an amazing lady...not a bad bone in her body. She was such a sweetheart. I remember how she would take care of me whenever I was sick so my mom could go to work. She was always trying to help everyone out. She was so kind, caring and had a wonderful laugh. She always looked for the good in people...the world would be a better place if there were more Mrs. Copland's around. My thoughts go out to everyone in the family. Love Sue

To Uncle Don, Eileen, Heather, John and Rob and families This is so difficult to write. Aunt Eleanor and I had a special relationship. She was very giving and kind person. We would talk for hours about everything from her grandchildren to how to do laundry. She could tell stories of her and Dad growing up. I feel sure that she should have written a book. She had a great sense of humor. When I was ten years old our family went to Ottawa. Aunt Eleanor bought me a little ring with a turtle on it. It was just a tin ring but I loved it just the same. After having a great time with everyone, we left Ottawa and went to Lake Simcoe to visit Uncle Peter. Later I was throwing stones into the lake when my precious ring flew off my hand and into the water. With help from my sister Barb we tried to retrieve that little ring. Unfortunately the water turned muddy and we could not find it. I remember walking back to the cottage soaking wet, with the most desperate sad feelings going on in my head. I have that same feeling now. I will forever remember my Beautiful Aunt Eleanor. I wish I could be with you all today. My thought are with you all. Love Debbie

Dear Don and family Please accept my sincere sympathy in the recent loss of our dear Eleanor. I had the wonderful priviledge to know Eleanor when I was working at the Royalcliffe and her radiant smile and welcoming comments is something that I will always cherish. Don the care and dedication you provided to your Eleanor was outstanding and your family support was wonderful. May it help in some small way to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at the time. Blessings Lynda McNabb

Our heartfelt condolences are sent to the Copland Family. Heather and Family; We know your Mother Loved the Lord and He was near to her. He was dear to her. He was surely her daily companion. We know she loved her family and Church dearly and now she journeys to meet her Lord and Saviour. She is on a journey we must all take and we too must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When your are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends you know; bury your sorrow in doing good needs, miss her but let her go. Comfort and console your children through their great loss. You are daily in our thoughts and prayers.
