Passed away peacefully at home, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Jim Allen for 65 fantastic years. Loving mother of Cindi Verleyen (Ian Thomson), Sue Hodgins (Rick), the late Sandy Bolt (Joe) and Jason Allen (Luis Ponciano). Proud Grammie of Kyle (Chelsea), Jaime (Matt), Traci (Zach), Luke, Tyler, Samantha (Cole) and Zack, and Great-Grammie of Harper. Dear sister of Bob Cook (Linda) and sister-in-law of Doreen Allen. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Elaine was a proud American; born in Saugus, Massachusetts, she immigrated to Canada as a newlywed in 1953. She was a devoted mother, raising her children to be kind and compassionate. Family was the centre of her life, which included many family gatherings that created many lasting memories. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019, from 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Elaine are asked to consider Community Living London or Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.

Jim --Elaine will be missed by everyone that has known her. My late wife Vinda and I have had many great evening with you and Elaine.. I wish that i could attend the funeral but Grand Wood Park is under lock-down due to sickness. Yvonne & I both our thoughts and prayers to you and your family .
