Eileen Vincent

Peacefully on June 26 at Parkwood Hospital in her 94^th year, Eileen Vincent, beloved wife of the late Cyril Vincent (2001), passed from this life to join her husband and grandchildren Angie (2004) and Chris (2008) Shannon. Eileen is survived by her loving daughters Sandra (Rev. Canon William) Rainey of Guelph, Linda (Tom) Leadston of Bracebridge and Nikki Shannon of Medford MA, 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Eileen was an active volunteer in the London community, having served more than 40 years with the Victoria Hospital Auxiliary, including a term as President.  In recognition of her extraordinary contribution, Eileen was awarded a life membership in the Ontario Hospital Auxiliary Association.  As a leader of Brownies and Girl Guides in England and in Canada, she touched the lives of many growing women. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Anglican Church, 249 Hamilton Road, London with visitation an hour prior to the service. Memorial donations to the Christopher Vincent Shannon Memorial Scholarship at Vancouver Community College, 1155 E. Broadway, Vancouver, B.C. V5T 4V5 would be greatly appreciated.
