October 6, 2011
Peacefully at University Hospital on Thursday, October 6th, 2011. Devoted wife of 56 years to Eric. Loving mom of David (Nancy), Cheryl, and Lisa (Steve). Adored grandmother to April (Adam), Stephanie (Dan), Jennifer, Whitney and Chloe. Loving sister to Eleanor (Ron), Shirley, Grace (Pat), Carl (Linda) and Linda (Ron). Predeceased by her parents Lena and Arthur Page and brother-in-law Bob. Mom was a faithful Christian, who believed in grace and forgiveness. We are saddened by mom’s passing, but are comforted by the knowledge that she is at peace in heaven with her Lord Jesus Christ, the one who died to give eternal life. John 3:16. Special thanks to Dr. Ray and Marion Meredith, Norm and Donna Chubb and the staff at University Hospital for all their kindness, love and support – it will never be forgotten. Private family interment has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at North Park Community Church, 1510 Fanshawe Park Road East, London, on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mission Services of London or Teen Challenge Farm would be appreciated.

For a number of years in the 1970's, Eileen Whalley, along with her husbabd Eric, showed my family and me no little kindness as our neighbours and benefactors. Through their efforts and investments, untold thousands were exposed to the Gospel of Christ. Eileen lived her life to please God and bless her family. Now through the grace of Jesus Christ, Eileen is "absent from the body, at home with the Lord."
So sad to hear of Eileen's passing. She was a lovely lady.
Our thoughts and prayers are for Eric and the family at this time.Eileen will be remembered as a person who showed by her life what a true Christian really is. We are saddened by her passing and yet rejoicing that she is in that place which is "far better."
Lisa, My condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. Though I had only met your Mother a couple of times, She carried herself with a certain grace. Peter Webb
Our love and prayers to Eric and family at this time. Eileen was such a lovely lady, i know she will be missed by many. We rejoice that she is now with her Lord that she loved.

I have fond memories of Aunt Eileen and her kindness. It was wonderful to reconnect again through the Chubb's. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. Fynn and Winona send hugs to Chloe.
