Edward Joseph Kemp
November 19, 2015
With heavy hearts, we announce his passing, unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, November 19, 2015, in his 65th year. Joe will be forever loved and missed by his wife Linda. Loving father of Elissa Westell and her husband Clint, son Colin and daughter Anna, stepdaughters: Stephanie Cote and her fiancé Michael, and Melissa Arcand and her husband Nathan. Adored grandfather of Micaylah. Remembered by his previous wife, Valerie. Joe worked at Bell Canada in Toronto for many years and then went on to work for his own company in London, Axis Design. He had a long standing contract with Telecon at a job he loved because of the people. He loved to cook while listening to blues music, travel in his 1984 van, read extensively and drink scotch “samplers” with his friends. Joe will be fondly remembered as a kind, caring and generous man. His dry sense of humour partnered with his willingness to help anyone stand out as a testament to the wonderful person he was. His spirit will live on in all who loved him. Joe will be missed by his extended family, and friends. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at his home, 1831 Dalmagarry Road, London. Please no flowers, however, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Joe are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Linda, I am sorry we never met, I spent a week with Joe on a trip and become very good friends about 15 years ago. We have stayed constantly in touch and almost connected again in Nova Scotia. I will treasure him and his use of the English language. May God help you through this difficult time. An American friend.
