Peacefully at home, with family by his side, on Sunday, April 28, 2019, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Anna Hall. Loving father of Alan (Diane) and daughter-in-law Maria Hall. Sadly missed by Anna’s children: Colleen Steenbergen, Ben (Judy) Mellett and Wally (Dina) Mellett. Adored grandfather of Andy, Robin, Jeremy, Kyle, Nicole, Eddie, Heather, Derek, Noah, Owen, Madeline, Liam, Zachary and great-grandchildren, Phil, Lily, Adrian and Sebastian. Predeceased by his wife Adasa (2009) and son David (2011). A Celebration of Edward’s Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ed are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.

Ed has been a wonderful friend for many years; we met with other friends on South Padre Island many years ago and enjoyed truly wonderful times. He was a very special person; funny, considerate, and kind. I shall always appreciate having known him and Anna. God bless, my friend.
