Peacefully on Saturday, Aug 3, 2024. Edna passed away in her 97th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband William. Dear mother of Larry Allcorn (Emily), Linda Bell (Brian), and Barb Sanders (Jim). Cherished grandmother of Michelle Lennox (Richard), Christine Bell (Murray), Laura Sanders, Leah Allcorn, Michael Bell (Amber), Allison Nash (Mat), Brenda Dyson (Jaimie), and Katherine Allcorn; and great-grandchildren EJ Dube, Paris Dube, Auston Lennox, Gareth Cooper, Wyatt Bell, Noah Dyson, Jackson Nash, Miles & Mason Lennox, Hendrik Dyson.
The family would like to thank her family physician, Dr. Melad Ideen Marbeen, and Saint Elizabeth Health Nurse Pupli Babu for their compassionate care and guidance and the Nursing staff and PSWs at Amica London. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A reception will follow. A private family interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to donate in memory of Edna are asked to consider the Participation House/PHSS London or a charity of your choice. I always loved talking to Great Grandma at family functions. She was interesting to talk to and always very friendly! What an amazing life she had and to live to 96. Wow! I have many good memories of Edna over decades on the golf course and at the bridge table at Sunningdale. Her smile and her energy both come to mind immediately. May your many happy memories comfort and sustain you as you celebrate a life well led.
