My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Kennedy family during this hard time. I've known Duncan for 9years we dated a while ago. He was such a genuine guy and he always knew how to put a smile on my face. I'm deeply saddened he won't be in our lives anymore. He's affected so many people's lives in a short period of time in such a fantastic way! He was definitely the most handsome man I ever met and I am lucky to call him my first love. I will always cherish the time we spent together. I'm so sorry for the loss of such an amazing guy! Duncan will forever be missed by all that knew him.

~ Rebecca Southwell

My thoughts and condolences goes out to the Kennedy family. I had the pleasure of teaching Duncan. He had a genuine personality and an infectious smile who was loved by his peers. Duncan will be missed by everyone who knew him. My deepest sympathies.

I send my deepest condolences for the loss of Duncan, my heart and most loving prayers are being sent to you during this time of sadness. I met duncan 3 years ago. The first time I met him was when I was at his house for a bonfire. I didn't know many people there but he was so welcoming and had such a warm spirit. That summer Duncan and I spent a lot of time together, and yes I of course had a big crush. Duncan was in my life for about 3 months, we never had a serious relationship and drifted apart with time, but I always knew he was there for me when I needed a friend. Duncan wasn't currently a part of my life I never have stopped thinking about him and and how he was doing. I wanted to share the joy duncan brought to my life with you. May you find strength and love in family and friends. I will be holding you in thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

~ Meghan Rose

So sad to hear about your loss. Our memories of Duncan are in playing Oakridge soccer with our son, Justin. We always enjoyed Duncan's company and his calming disposition. The Oakridge community is saddened by this tragedy. Our deepest condolences. Snoddy Family

Ken, Nora, Maggie, Eric We are so saddened at the loss of Duncan and can not imagine what you are going through at this difficult time. No parent/sibling should have to lose thier child/brother at such a young age! I can remember Duncan sitting on the side lines cheering Maggie and her soccer team on and never saying anything but positive encouragement to her! He attended school with D'Arcy Jr., and she said he was always on his skateboard and always having fun. Carly also has memories of when she would hanging out with Maggie and said he was always at hockey or skateboarding but when he was home he would be a typical older brother and bug the girls. He could be fun but also a pain as any sibling and that she can't believe he's gone. We wish we could be there tonight however work won't allow us. Carly and D'Arcy will be attending and giving you all our love and prayers during this sad time! If you need us for anything please don't hesitate to ask. Kim, D'Arcy Sr, Carly, D'Arcy Jr. Stewart

~ Kim Stewart
