MLD as he was affectionately called was a very kind and friendly batch mate and it is very sad to note that he is there no more. Unfortunately he could not attend our Reunion which was held during the first week of October even though he had paid the initial deposit. May he attain the Eternal Bliss of Nirvana.
So sorry to hear of Lakshman's passing. We first met in St. John's, Newfoundland when he was a 3rd year resident in psychiatry and I was a rotating intern. Our paths crossed again, working together, for several years in London. Lucky had an abiding affection for Newfoundland which I always appreciated. I witnessed his magic show on several occasions, bringing laughter and joy to his audience. He had an infectious laugh which could lighten the mood in difficult situations. Our sympathies, condolences to his loved ones, his colleagues. May they find comfort and solace in a time of loss. Kindest regards, Paul & Lynda Wadden
