Dr. Harish Ruparelia

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at University Hospital on Thursday, June 16, 2016. Beloved husband of Chandra (neé Tiwari) and father to Dr. Rita Rabheru and his sons Dr. Ashu and Dr. Shivesh. Dearest grandfather of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother, Dr. B.C. Ruparelia of Ottawa. A pillar of the East Indian community, he enjoyed playing bridge and travelling with his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving, humble man, who was always there for advice when needed. He had a wonderful sense of humour and wit and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral ceremony will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 303 Riverside Drive, London, on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Hindu Cultural Centre of London.
