Dr. George Hans Richter

RICHTER, Dr. George Hans  – Peacefully at his residence on Saturday, December 25, 2010 while under constant care in his home, administered by compassionate, dedicated and caring people. Dr. George Hans Richter of London in his 97^th year.  Beloved husband of the late Gladys Richter (1992).  Loving uncle of Stew Jackson and his wife Gayle, their children Jim, Ray, Todd and their families; and Norman Jackson and his wife Judy and his children Debbie, Norman, Cathy, Bud and their families.  George will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends.  Special thank you to June Jones, his long time friend and caregiver.  George was born in Chicago, Illinois; worked as an accountant and served in the United States Air Force during WWII.   He was a very loving and giving man who established the Gladys McKay Richter Memorial Nursing Scholarship at Carroll College in Wisconsin. George has touched the lives of many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road, North, on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
