Dear Dorthy and Family we are sorry to hear of Dougs passing. I know my Dad, Scott and myself enjoyed the times hunting with Doug or just talking about hunting and or guns. Dad always said it was nice to have a friend his own age to hunt with! It was a pleasure to know Doug and be around someone with a such a passion for the outdoors. Deepest sympathies , McDonald Family

Dear Mrs. Heron, I saw Mr. Heron's obituary and wanted to express my condolences. May you be comforted in the loss of your husband, friend, and long-time companion by the Bible's promise to end death and raise back to a paradise earth those already gone (Rev. 21:3,4; John 5:28,29). Until that time may the memories you and your family cherish of him keep the sting of death in its place. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers, Susie Noble

Hello Dorothy, Jane, Katie, Jim, I just learned of DOug's passing this morning. I've been on the road for the month of July and just sarting to re-climatize myself to London. I cannot be at the visitation today as I am back out performing but I wanted to express my sympathies to you and your familes. You were all great friends to us growing up in Oakridge and Doug was very special to my dad both on and off the golf course. He was at our house first thing on the morning dad passed. Doug also took a great interest in my career. Most times when he visited, he would make a special trip to the basement to see what I was working on. Please know that my thoughts are with you all today and I really wish I could be there with you.
