Passed away peacefully at Arbor Trace on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018, in her 87th year. Cherished wife of Bill for 65 years. Beloved mother of Scott (Kathy) of Lambeth, Lori Sue Gelz (Earl) of Richmond, BC and the late Kathy Jane McIntosh (Paul) of London. Treasured grandmother of Ashley L’Heureux (Brent), Erin McIntosh (Aaron), Allison McIntosh (Chris), Dale Machesney, Daren Machesney (Tracey), Brett and Mikayla Gelz, and great-grandmother of Carter and Cullen L’Heureux, and Macklyn and Sage Downey. Dorothy was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private inurnment at Woodland Cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Arbor Trace Memory Care Center for the excellent care and compassion extended to Dorothy. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dorothy are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the London Regional Cancer Program.
