Dorothy Louise Mills (née Evans)

Peacefully, on Friday, May 31^st, 2013, with her family by her side at Longworth Retirement Residence, Dorothy Louise Mills (née Evans), in her 83^rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Leonard George Mills (2011).  Loving mother of Don and his wife Liz.  Dear sister of Jean McCallum and sister-in-law of Helen Evans.  Sadly missed by many special nieces and nephews.  Fondly remembered by special friend Gladys Putt and family.  Predeceased by siblings Mildred Clark, Lorne Evans, Jack Evans and Mae Hathaway.  Special thanks to Dorothy’s niece Pat MacKay and to the staff of Longworth Retirement Residence, CCAC – St. Elizabeth Health Medical Priorities for their special help and care.  Dorothy was a loving, gentle, kind, fun, caring gracious lady and a true friend to many people.  She will be remembered forever in our hearts.  The funeral service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday, June 5^th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior.  Interment, Woodland Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dorothy are asked to please consider Riverside United Church, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or the L.H.S.F. – Cancer Centre.
