So sorry to hear about aunt Dot. I'm Archie's son Brent, and the unfortunate thing about distance is never getting to know relatives, I would hear my dad talk fondly of aunt Dot, whom I only met once or twice, because the clan is large and spread abroad. May your memories be sweet and long lasting, as aunt Dot is laid to final rest. Love from another clan member Archie Brent Beaton

Sending condolences to my aunt Dot's family. My father was Dot's brother, Archie Beaton. I saw Aunt Dot and Uncle Bill in 1995 in Grande Cache, AB when they were passing through from BC. I had recently been married and Aunt Dot gave me a crystal bowl and serving plate as a gift. Both of which I cherish and still use to this day. I think of her every time I use those dishes. Rest In Peace Aunt Dot. Terry Lyn and Michael Shea

Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. Memories of Dot will always be with me and our hearts are sadden. My grandsons have lovely Christmas stockings with their names on them that Dot crocheted that will always be cherished. Dot is in Heaven now surrounded by Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters, her son Randy and loving husband Bill. A beautiful sister and aunt that will be missed dearly. Love sister Josie, Walter, and the Dill family.
We (Bill Beaton's family, Dottie's brother) also grew up far from family with Dad in the Air Force so visits growing up were treasured. It was a special treat to have Aunt Dottie and Uncle Bill so close to Kingston when I was going to school there. We (Vera, her daughter Meghan, Danielle, and Lara) were able to visit with them and do fun activities with them around town. I even signed her up for a very memorable Scottish society outing (the woman who called was a Beaton) that I wasn't able to attend but has become legend in the family. Dottie's threat to take me out were exaggerated - she laughed the loudest at the retelling (after threatening me). It was lovely to get her stories of the family growing up back home, especially as our Dad's big sister. She will be missed. Condolences to the family at their loss. Our mother, Joan, has made a donation in her name to the local food cupboard.
Natalie & Rick and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you all.
