The family wishes to announce the passing of Doreen Armstrong at peopleCare Tavistock on Friday, September 2nd, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Ron Armstrong. Loving Mom of Mike (Nancy) Stanlick, Tim (Nancy) Stanlick and Robert (Nancy) Stanlick. Precious Grandma to Tonya (Glen), Heather (Kurt), Kyle (Desiree), Jason (Janine), Jeffrey (Tanya), Jennifer (Ross), Christie (Nick) and Lindsay (Jeff). Treasured G.G. to 10 great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Dennis (Joan), Bev (Grace) and identical twin sister of Doris. Predeceased by her brother Tom and sisters Barb, Betty and Janice. Special thanks to the staff of peopleCare for their loving support and care. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Doreen are asked to consider peopleCare Tavistock.

I have missed Doreen these last few years when I go to London to visit. I appreciate the support and dedication that Doreen and the members of her family have given to Community of Christ over many years.
