Donna Marie Bowles

November 13, 2013

Peacefully at home with family on November 13, 2013 in her 79th year.  Beloved mother of Larry of Gibsons, BC and Ted of London.  Predeceased by husband Jack (1965) and parents Bill and Marie Brandon, Forest.  Loving grandma of Dawn and Danielle.  Dear sister of Bette Walker (Glenn) of London, the late Marilyn Turnbull and sister-in-law of Lois Forbes, Shirley Forbes and Helen Bowles.  Fondly remembered by her aunts and uncle Peter and Carole Ming, Leila Rendle, Marion Johnson and friend Margaret Bowles.  She will be missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  A memorial reception will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, November 17th, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Private inurnment at Beechwood Cemetery, Forest.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Donna are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society or the VON Palliative care.

I worked with Donna for 22 years at Esam until her retirement, after which we continued our friendship. She was a mentor at work and always a friend, and I will miss her greatly. My deepest condolences to Larry, Ted, Dawn and Danielle, she was so very proud of all of you.
