I am very sorry to hear of your loss. What a wonderful woman Donna was. She was my department head (and friend) at Clarke Road. Always cheerful, selfless and passionate. All of us who knew her were enriched. Mary

Our sincerest sympathy to the Adair family. Donna's kindness & compassion to our family will always be remembered. We will miss not receiving her note on Feb. 29 next year. She never missed sending us a kind note of remembrance on our deceased son's leap year birthday. A very caring lady.

Donna was a compassionate department head. I enjoyed many cups of tea after school discussing whatever needed to be discussed. She would be so proud of the service yesterday and the way her sons remembered her. What a wonderful family!

I just heard in the passed hour of the passing of your dear mother. You have our deepest sympathy. I remember Donna when she taught the Food Service Management course at CCAT (college) near Exeter in 1982-83. She was a wonderful lady. My favourite class was an elective called "Food Demonstration" with only 6 students. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy.

My deepest sympathies to Brent, Craig and your families. I have many wonderful memories of your Mom. She was such a wonderful mentor and support to me over my 5 years at Oakridge. I had so many opportunities during my high school years because of your Mom's encouragement - opportunities that paved the way for my career today. I have thought of her often over the years fondly. She was a strong woman with a huge heart - and her cookies were always the best way to start the day. I am so sorry that I couldn't be there with Paul last night to be able to tell you these stories in person. My thoughts are with you. Brooke

So sorry to hear this news. Many thanks for carting us wee ones up to Muskoka time after time. I remember your love of rowing the tin boat around the lake; punctuated by the time you turned all the neighbours heads with your amazing speed (possibly assisted by the small 2hp motor). All the best to the whole family.

My sincerest sympathy to the Adair family. I worked with Donna for some time. She was both passionate and compassionate and will be missed.

On behalf of the Byron branch of the London Public Library, I offer my sincere condolences to Donna's family. Donna was a regular visitor to our branch. She had a lively, eclectic, deeply passionate interest in books & I am indebted to her, on a personal level, for several wonderful discussions. I did not know her well but her intelligence, warmth & generosity of spirit made even the most casual exchange memorable. We will miss her.

My sincerest condolences to The Adair family. I met Donna 37 yrs ago, she was a co-worker of my Mother, Joyce Stanley. I baby-sat Craig & Brent for several years. What adventures we had. Both Donna and Gary were such wonderful people and parents who knew how to make light of situations, were easy going and fun to be with. They were people who made a difference in my life. Although we lost touch, they have always held a place in my heart. I will always remember Donna's smile and kind heart . May your family find solace in all the happy memories. I was very saddened to hear of the passing of your mother. I worked with Donna for a number of years at Oakridge and remember her as sweet, caring and friendly. I can still see her kind smile and hear her kind words. A real gem. Take care Brent.

Donna, my VP aT WD Sutton,; a gentle soul who went out of her way to help those in need, never drawing attention to her generosity. In fact, she would often let others shine while she watched from behind. Donna, you have helped me out during difficult times and your generosity will not be forgotten. You always talked about paying it forward, and pay it forward I will indeed. Rest in peace. My sincere condolences Donna's family.

Many years ago we double dated with Donna and Garry when we were in high school in Barrie. We have fond memories of weekends spent at car races and visiting the cottage at Clear Lake. Donna was always a warm and friendly person. She often spoke of her career in education, and how much she enjoyed working with young adults. We will miss her wonderful smile and warm heart. Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Donna Adair for your loss. I have known Donna since we share VP responsibilities at Clarke Rd. SS for a couple of years as she tutored me through the ins-and-outs of the school. As many have previously stated, Donna was a dedicated, compassionate person who cared for her students. I am sorry that I will not be with you at this time due to poor health.

It was both an honour and a pleasure to work for Donna. Her dedication to her students, her staff and her responsibilities was admirable and inspiring. Donna was our Vice Principal for the past several years at WD Sutton. Donna’s kindness, compassion, and commitment to our students were ever-present, and this will undoubtedly be missed. Donna’s wit, knowledge and ongoing support will be significantly missed by the staff team. I met Donna at CECI about 25 years ago. Our paths crossed again when she was my vice-principal at Montcalm and then when she supported me as a new vice-principal while in her role at WD Sutton. I will miss her knowledge, compassion, dry sense of humour and cookies! My deepest sympathy to her family.

Donna was a personal mentor who inspired me to pursue my educational goals and believe in the abilities of students. I will always admire her respect, kindness, and compassion for people and education. My condolences to her entire family.
