Donald L. Reaume
October 13, 1928 - April 11, 2025
Donald L. Reaume of London, peacefully passed at Victoria Hospital – LHSC on April 11th, in his 97th year. Survived by his wife of almost 72 years, Marion (née Shore) and his children Cathy (Wayne Harding), Bob (Jocelyne), Nip (Donna) and Doug (Liz). Loving grandpa to 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Sonny and Mary Reaume of Tilbury, Ontario, and his sister Lucille Michelin from North Carolina.
Don was born in Tilbury and spent his early years there, then went to Ottawa for high school and attended the University of Ottawa where he excelled in various sports.
He found his way to London where he began a 40-year career with London Life. It was at work where he met, then married Marion Shore and began a family.
Don enjoyed playing baseball, tennis and bowling but his favourite activity was as a football official for area high schools and universities. After his retirement, when they weren’t travelling he could be found on the golf course or in the kitchen. His soups and breads were legendary. Don’s love of family can be seen in the many pictures. He was always happiest holding a little one. His love was felt by many.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Tuesday, April 15th between 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
Donations may be made in memory of Don to Oakridge Optimists-Sports Program.

I’m gutted to hear of Uncle Don’s passing. My deepest condolences to Aunt Marion and all the family. I don’t know anyone who embodied the sentiment “a life well lived” better than this dear man. Thank you, Uncle Don, for being the best neighbour and “uncle” a girl could ask for. You will be missed.
Very sorry to hear of your father’s passing. He was a wonderful man and touched the lives of so many. Condolences to the entire family.
Sorry for your loss

I couldn't have asked for a better uncle. I was always so thankful Mom chose you to be my Godfather. Thanks for the many loving, and laughable memories! I will miss you forever. Meann
My sincerest condolences to Marion and family. Don and Marion were always delighted to see the many (many) grandchildren descending upon their neighbours, John and Mary Jane. You were one of my first examples of what it means to be good neighbours. May your memories bring your family comfort.
