Donald ‘Don’ E. Morgan

October 24, 1928 - January 2, 2024

In Loving Memory of Donald E. Morgan

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the peaceful passing of Donald E. Morgan at the humble age of 95. He departed this world surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, wisdom, and cherished memories. Don found immense joy in activities such as Jeeping, golf, and family events. He enjoyed his many successful entrepreneurial endeavours. As best said by Don, “Life is good.”

Don is survived by his devoted wife of 76 years, Millie, who stood by his side through thick and thin. His love and commitment to Millie was a testament to the enduring strength of their bond. He is also survived by his daughters, Sandy (Dennis) and Nancy (David). Donald was predeceased by his daughter Linda (2020). Affectionately known as Popeye to many, Don took immense pride in his role as a grandfather. He leaves behind a rich tapestry of love and laughter woven through the lives of his grandchildren: Stephan, Jeff, Shelby, Julie, Nic, Emily, and Carlee. His influence extended to the next generation, as he was a proud Great-Grandpa to nine great-grandchildren: JJ, Elisha, Madison, Max, Jonah, Chase, Tucker, Millie Mae, and Brucie.

Funeral service will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Reception to celebrate Don’s life to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Don’s honor to the McCormick Care Foundation.

Let us remember Don not with sadness, but with gratitude for the love he shared and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.

“Life is good”

Millie, Sandy, Nancy and Family My heart aches for all of you in the loss of your husband, father and Grandfather. Don was an amazing friend from CIM, and someone I always looked forward to seeing a couple times a year. We always loved to chat and catch up. Just before Christmas, Lorraine Gignac was up for a visit and we went through our CIM pictures, one of the best ones was Don and I smoking a cigar together at the London conference. I send lots of love and strength your way during this very sad time. An AMAZING MAN and someone I'm so happy I met in my life. XOXO

~ Nancy Lockman
