Passed suddenly with his family at his side on Sunday, March 4th, 2012, at the age of 87. Loving husband of Phyl for 55 years. Dear father of Scott (Nancy), Leslie Billingsley (Jeff) and Jeff Galpin. Proud Grandpa of Brian (Sarah), Allison, Mark, Katie and Bryce, and great Grandad of Carter and Cadence. Fondly remembered by his sister Lois Percy, his extended family and many friends. Don lead a full and active life and enjoyed curling, golf, music and travel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the memorial service which will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Thursday, March 8th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Don are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Outreach Services – McCormick Home.

Our hearts go out to you, Phyl and family, in sympathy for your loss. We were honoured to be present at Don's funeral, and especially appreciated the spirited remarks by Scott & Jeff.

Phyl, Scott, Lee, Jeff and families, Our condolences to all of you for Don's passing. I have many fond memories of good times in Sarnia, London, and Triple Bay.
