Peacefully on Friday, July 31st, 2015 at University Hospital and surrounded by his family, Dick Feenstra, of London, in his 82nd year.  Loving husband of 53 years to Janet Feenstra (née Ferwerda).  Dear father of Deborah Heatherly (David), David Feenstra (Carrie), and Deanne Feenstra (Kevin).  Adored Opa to Mariah, Ben, and Sophia.  He will be sadly missed by his four-legged buddy “Abby” and will be fondly remembered by his large extended family.  A celebration of Dick’s life will take place on Saturday, August 8th, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Dick’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated.

We are so sorry to hear this sad news. Although we haven't seen Dick in many years, we have often spoke about the wonderful friendship my parents had with Dick & Janet. Sending caring thoughts to the entire family during this very sad time. He will forever be in your hearts.3387

first met this family when I was 5 years old and through the years I have experienced the love and laughter in the Feenstra house. Even through Dick's struggles over the years he was always happy and kind. I know you will miss him terribly and life will not be the same but you can cling to the fond memories of him. My condolences to all of you at this difficult time.
