Peacefully at home on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Gerrit Van Langeveld. Loving mother of Linda Petkovic (Zeke), Gerald (Mandy) and Rick (Kathy). Creative, generous, and kind Oma of Danica (Gerald), Mila, Nadia (Mattia), Elena (Cedric), Alexander,
Kayla, Jacob (Brooke) and Richard, and Great-Oma of Sierra, Brianna, Julia, Olivia, and Eli. Loving sister to Gerda and Hank. Ditte was a prolific artist and nature lover. Special thanks to the London Home Palliative Care Team who provided exemplary care for Ditte in her final weeks at home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to donate in memory of Ditte are asked to consider the VON (Victorian Order of Nurses) or Saint Elizabeth Healthcare.

Dittie was a kind and gracious lady. She will be missed. I was impressed some years ago to learn that she was an enthusiastic face-painter at West Park Church's community outreach events.
