Peacefully at University Hospital on Monday, October 7th, 2013, Dempsey Kerr, of London, in his 88th year. Cherished husband of Muriel. Loving father of Wayne Kerr (Gloria McKinnon) of New Hamburg, Kevin Kerr of Ottawa, and Kathryn Kerr (Aaron Chabwa) of Tillsonburg. Dear grandfather of Sarah Kerr, Elizabeth Kerr, Kyle Chabwa, Tandi Chabwa and great-grandfather of Jean-Marie. Lovingly remembered by siblings John Kerr, Helen Quick and Norma Dunbrack. Predeceased by siblings Eileen Keiller, Mona Colomb, Stuart Kerr and Donald Kerr. A celebration of life will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, October 11th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dempsey are asked to consider a charity of choice.

Kathy and family, we were saddened to hear of the passing of your father. As a young girl, I always enjoyed the time I spent with you and your family, your father was always the jokester, many laughs, even during my last visit this past summer. I will fondly remember his smile and his mischievousness . I know he will be missed by all of you but hopefully the cherished memories will bring comfort and peace.
