So sorry to hear about this sudden news. We have very fond memories of Del. He was kindhearted and always had time to listen to our trials as teenagers. Our thoughts and love go out to the loving family he and Ruth have nurtured.
Dear Ruth and family - we were so sorry to hear of Delbert's death and want you to know that we are thinking of you at this difficult time. We send you our deepest sympathy.
Del was a man of great stature… but of a very gentle heart as well. He will be greatly missed – but without a doubt, safely home with his Lord and Saviour. Our prayers will be with you Ruth, and all the Allison family that the great Comforter will help you through in the days and months ahead. George & Margot Glover, London, ON
Worked with Del at Upjohn until we retired.Always enjoyed his humour and sincerity and have great memories of our encounters over the years.Probably had a great influence in converting me to Conservatism. Del was always able to laugh at himself and made others laugh with him. Sincerely Wayne Matheson Ottawa
Lesley and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your extended family as you celebrate the life of Delbert. He certainly impacted a number of lives in his too brief journey here on earth. May God's peace bring you comfort as you mourn his passing and realize that he is now in a much better place!
Such memories of great times together while at West Park Baptist Church London - 35 years ago! Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Ruth, and your precious kids. He lived a great life and for Del...it's the best place for him to be - He'll be missed. So glad we had that good visit last month with you both. Love Paul & Vi

Dear Ruth and family, We were very sad to get the news of Del's passing. I was hoping that I would be able to attend the funeral in London, but I'm sorry I can't make it work. Please know that you are in our thoughts. I'm sure many of his "Upjohn" family members will be there to say "goodbye". Del was a wonderful person and he will be missed. Loving condolences June & Doug
Dear Ruth, Joan, and family. We are thinking about you these days and praying for your comfort. All who knew Del will be saddened and will miss him greatly. He was the cousin who kept us all in touch. We so enjoyed those "brief" visits every summer...only brief because Del had so many Miramichi folks to visit. May you feel God's comfort now and in the days ahead. Love Wendy and Terry
Dear Ruth and Family, You are all in our prayers and thoughts at this most difficult of times. We have so many, many memories of Del to cherish.....wonderful fellowship with you two going to the singings together every Saturday night in Lakeland, those meals together at Golden Corral, and oh but was Del a gadget guy....loved gadgets. He will be so, so missed. He loved the Lord and was such a testimony for us. May the Lord bless you and your family with his healing grace. Verna and Felix

Yes, Ruth & family, Joan and all - Del will be missed most terribly as he so much loved life and the outdoors. He was a working man to the last days. We know he is now with his heavenly Father and will be awaiting your arrival in the sweet by and by. Deepest sympathy and love to all.
Del was truly a loving family man and also a MAN of GOD. He was full of compassion, kind, humorous & devoted to his loving family, friends & his true MASTER. It was a priviledge to have him as a lifetime friend - so many happy memories. To say he will be missed is a gross understatement. He will always be in our hearts & Ruth & her family in our thoughts & prayers. God bless!
