David McGlynn
October 5, 2024
Suddenly on Saturday, October 5, 2024, David McGlynn passed away at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Carol for 55 years. Dear father of David (Nikki), Julie Evans (Mike), and John (Melissa). Cherished Grandad of Noël and Lily McGlynn; Ellie, Jack, and Harry Evans; Lucy, James, and Lewis McGlynn. Brother of Jimmy (Rosina), Tommy (Sylvia), Mary (the late Dave), John (Cathy), Karen (the late Joe), and Robert (Michelle). David will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Davey was born in Liverpool, England, and came to Canada in 1969 to pursue a better life for his family. He lived for his children and grandchildren. He was a lifelong Liverpool Football Club fan, enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and sailing, and loved caring for his Granddogs.
A private family celebration for David will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the McCormick Care Foundation – Day Program would be greatly appreciated.

I am heartbroken to hear of your dad’s sudden loss . I know the incredible love you have for your dad Julie as you have always spoken of how incredible of a man he was. Our condolences to you and your family as you go through this difficult time. Sending much love & healing . Xoxo
I am heartbroken to read of David’s sudden passing. I knew him from church. He never missed Mass on Sunday and would bring his lovely wife Carol when she was able. We talked about Liverpool FC every week. Both of us staunch fans. I am also from Merseyside England. When he came to Mass alone he would rush home so concerned about leaving Carol for too long. He reminded me of my dad and I loved talking to him. My deepest condolences to all the family especially his cherished wife. So sad ❤️
