Dear Auntie Eileen, John, Lois and families. We want to join with you in sharing the sadness at the departure of Uncle Dave. Ruth Ann knew him all her life, and I have appreciated his kindness and cheerful encouragement ever since first arriving for studies in 1969. When we were commended to the work of the Lord in 1975, and then left for Chile in 1977, he was always an appreciative supporter and encouragement. It will not be the same, going "home" to London, without him present in the assembly. When I think of his encouraging ministry, I am reminded of the description of Barnabas in Acts 11:24; "He was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith..." There are many educated members in the Highbury assembly, but Uncle Dave Warden, Phd, was one of the most loved! With all our love and care, David and Ruth Ann and family.

Dear Eileen & Family You really haven’t lost Dave, you have never been so sure of where he is, and yet there is loss. London may have lost a painter, but the Lord’s people have lost a prince. 2 Sam 3:38 Know ye not that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day in Israel? Many will testify to the words of Matthew 25:35 “I was a stranger and ye took me in” Before my wife Shirley and her sister Joan knew me, they knew of the kindness and hospitality of the Warden’s. A home that was always open, and hearts that were always warm. Murray & Shirley McCandless

Mrs. Warden & Family. We were all deeply saddened with the news of Dave's passing. We will miss seeing him in our office with a smile on his face, a Tim Horton's coffee in his hand and few witty and humorous comments that always left us chuckling. Dave had a very kind and caring strength with the gentleness of a very loving heart. Our deepest sympathies to you all during this very difficult time. Linda, Leah, Mary, Iris, Andrea, Sonia

Dear Eileen and family, We extend our love and thoughts to you at this time of sorrow in the loss of your dear husband and father. In our recent telephone conversation David and I shared thoughts about our "everlasting habitation". We pray that this comfort from the Scriptures will be yours during your many reflections and memories. Wade and Marie
