Our deepest sympathies in the loss of your Father. We have so many great memories of both your mom and dad ,The criuses we took with them, the house parties they held on Vicount. Dave was a great boss and friend, he loved to sing ( mares eat oats and twelve days of Christmas ) We will miss his phone calls. And his beautiful personality. sincerely Ken and Grace
I am so sorry to learn of your loss. I remember Dave when he was the Cub Master and active in St. Margarets church in Norton Estates. One year the cubs had a camp up near the cottage on Lake St. Peter. My late husband, Mike was there with our sons, Dave & Steve. Our condolences on your loss Moira, Dave & Steve Sargent
Dear Cyndie & Doug: My thoughts are with you and your families during this time of sadness over the passing of your father and my Uncle Dave. Our families were intertwined for many many years. Your fathers love of campfire songs has been passed on to me, my children and everyone that has ever sat with me around a camp fire. A child's life is shaped by role models, please know that your father had a profound influence on my life and many young people in our community. Jimmy
Ahhhh....I'm sorry. Your father was such a good man! He got me involved in cubbing so many years ago. We used to have such fun at our meetings and camping. He was such a giving person and just loved sharing his love of the outdoors with kids. I'm sure there are many men today who are better for having Akela in their lives! I'll miss him and I know my brother Jihn will as well. Your parents and our parents made lots of great memories together and both valued their friendship. Dave and Pauline Bancroft always have our utmost respect and love! Susan Gosney and The Gosney Family

Both Uncle Dave and Aunt Pauline will always be remembered for their genuineness, their love of family, their faith, their laughter and kindness which was shared with their nieces and nephews when they visited here in Nova Scotia, specifically at the family farm here in Bear River,NS. Always fond memories, cousin Cheryl Cougle (nee Dukeshire)
Dear Cyndie and Doug and Family:Our love, thoughts and payers go out to you now and always. We have so many lovely memories of Uncle Dave and Aunt Paul. It was so exciting when they came home to Bear River every year. Uncle Dave visited us in Beaverbank a few years ago and we can still see his eyes light up and hear his hearty laugh when Paul and I told him about the Digby Scallops for dinner that evening. We miss you so very much Uncle Dave. Love to you all Pat [Trish] Paul and Family
