Derek I am so sorry to have heard about Darlene. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Born all those years ago, unique as your fingerprints, the one and only, beautiful Darlene. Your entrance from Heaven and into our world was celebrated with great joy, now with saddened hearts we watch you go. I will see you again, but not yet, not yet. Affectionately , Marion - Sue - Jackie - Kathy - Joshua - Bill - & Rhona Passage selected from Kahlil Gibran: In the depth of your hopes and desires lies your silent knowledge of the beyond; And like seeds dreaming beneath the snow your heart dreams of spring. Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity. For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and melt into the sun? And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.
Mrs. Ethier, Darwin, Dean, Dianne, Derek, Andre and your families, my heart goes out to you during this very difficult time. Dar, I will miss you! I can't think of you and your family and not think of the great times we had growing up. Your family was our family and our family was yours. We shared in our milestones both good and bad. I will never forget how you included me in your cool older crowd in high school and how you would refer to me as "your little sister through osmosis". You made sure everyone knew that too. You had such a presence with your beautiful smile and kindness. As we got older we were able to take our childhood friendship into an adult one which continued on until now. Ken and I have fond memories of the times we spent together. I will miss you my friend and know that just like you loved and protected those close to you during your life, you will continue to watch over us. We will love and cherish your memory forever. Until we meet again my friend! Love Dar, Ken, Brandon and Dana
Derek and family, We are thinking of you at this very sad time. Darlene has been such a big part of our lives for so many years and we miss her terribly. I really do not know what to say....It is not easy saying goodbye....so I won't!
