Danielle Elizabeth Desmond Schmoll

June 4, 2014

The sunshine of our lives was taken from us suddenly at the age of 19 on Wednesday, June 4th, 2014. She will be forever loved and missed by her parents Alex Schmoll and Dianne Desmond and brothers David and Nathan. Dear niece of Don (Barb) Desmond, Doug Desmond (Donna Jenner), David (Suzanne) Desmond, Dan (Martha) Desmond, Rheinhart (Elly) Schmoll and Ken (Nina) Park. Loved cousin of Brett Miller, Tommy Desmond, Danny Desmond, Alex Desmond, Kristina Desmond, Morgan Desmond Yarusites (Kyle Yarusites) and Fraser Desmond. Predeceased by her grandparents Chris and Mary Schmoll and Bobbie Desmond. Danielle was a graduate of Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School and had just completed her second year at Dalhousie University studying commerce. She was an enthusiastic employee of RW & Co. at Masonville Mall. Danielle loved life and lived her short time to the fullest. She adored her family and friends and was determined to make the world a better place by making us all better people. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Church of St. John the Divine, 21557 Richmond Street, Arva, on Sunday, June 8th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Arva. Alex and family, our most heartfelt condolences on the sudden loss of Danielle. Words cannot describe what you must be feeling but be assured we are thinking of you. Brian and Lorri Lowe and family.

~ Brian Lowe

I genuinely regret your loss and bemoan with you. No doubt Danielle enriched your lives and that of many. I am convinced that no one better than God, understands the depth of your pain and can help you cope with your disquieting thoughts. Weeping is normal, even the perfect man Jesus gave way to tears when his friend Lazarus died. Please believe the words of Psalm 34:18 “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” Giving us a foregleam of Paradise, Jesus said in John 6:40 “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him at the last day.” Then, mankind will not be subject to criminals, violence, sickness, accidents, and death. (Psalm 37:29; Revelation 21:3, 4) May you have undeserved kindness and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

~ Claire Jospitre
