Peacefully at home, on Thursday, August 29, 2019, Mr. Dan Hopkins of Ailsa Craig, in his 67th year. Loving husband of Erin. Beloved father of Sandy Hopkins and Richard Falagario. Proud Grandpa of Kaleb. Sadly missed by his brothers Rick (Sue) and Bob (Marybeth), and sisters-in-law Kelly Anderson and Jan Anderson. Predeceased by his son Michael; parents Alan and Alena Hopkins; and brother-in-law Allan Anderson. A Celebration of Dan’s life will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 2:00 ~ 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dan are asked to consider ALS Canada, the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or a charity of their choice.

We are so sorry for your loss Erin & family. Dan was such a kind, caring and giving guy. We will miss his smiling face and chats when we met on the street or when he came over to ensure our plumbing was top notch. Hugs!

As a retired employee of B&B Distribution I had many occasions to deal with Dan. He was very much an honest and good man. My condolences to the Hopkins family.

We were so sad to learn of Dan's passing. The neighbourhood won't be the same without his friendly smile.
My deepest condolences to you Erin, Richard and Family. It definitely won't be the same without our friendly neighbour Mr. Dan the Plumber Man. Dan always had a smile on! It was a pleasure to have a neighbour like him for so many years. He will be missed!
Erin, Richard and family... please accept our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Dan was always there to lend an ear or give advice when I needed it. My children often discuss all the talks shared in the laneway with Dan. He was a great neighbour, a wonderful man and he will be dearly missed.

Dan was one of my favorite people. I will forever miss his calm, loving nature. I always looked forward to work day with Dan. He was like a father to me in my career.
