I only found out today, just over a month after Cynthia's passing. As a new teacher years ago, Cynthia was my teaching partner and mentor. She was the most driven and passionate teacher I knew and a great mentor. The memories of working with her are some of my most memorable teaching moments. Prayers and thoughts go out to her surviving family.
