Clasina Josten (née de Lange)

June 29, 2024

Unexpectedly at Windermere on the Mount, London, on Saturday, June 29, 2024, Clasina “Ina” Josten passed away in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Josten (2016). Loving mother of Josie Josten, Wilma Clarke, and her husband Dan. Proud Oma of Andrea Peterson (Jarret), Matthew Clarke (Sarah), and Stephanie Masterson (Thomas). Cherished Great-Oma of Teagan, Sloane, and Hudson. Dear sister of Stephanus de Lange (the late Riet), the late Lenie Maas (the late Kees), the late Hubert de Lange (Marina), Wilhelmina Schuling (the late Wim), Stephanie Geurts (Kees) and Otto de Lange (Joke). Clasina will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family in Canada and the Netherlands.

Clasina was a devoted parishioner at St. John the Divine Parish for 55 years, and a talented knitter and seamstress, often knitting for her children, grandchildren, and her church community. She loved gardening and cheering on her grandchildren in all of their activities and accomplishments. Clasina will be remembered for her wonderful and welcoming smile by all those she met. Clasina will be missed by her many friends from her card group and from Windermere on the Mount.

Friends are welcomed for visitation, one hour prior (10 – 11:00 a.m.)  to the Funeral Mass that will be celebrated at St. John the Divine Parish, 390 Base Line Road West, London, on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. A livestream will be available at time of service:
