Clark McConnery

March 26, 2018

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Clark, who left us on Monday, March 26, 2018, after a long illness at University Hospital in London, Ontario, at the age of 75. This wonderful, gentle man leaves to miss him his wife and best friend Linda, his son Scott (Tanya), his daughters Monique, Lee-Anne (Bruce), and 7 grandchildren, whom he loved immensely. He also leaves his mother Dorothy; brothers Lorne (Peggy), Ken, Denis (late Marsha); his sister Judy (Susan); and many nieces, nephews and friends, as well as his two beloved cats. He is predeceased by his father Lawrence and his brothers Wayne and Brian. The family would like to thank Dr. McKenzie and the staff at the ICU on the sixth floor at University Hospital. We will not forget the special care they provided. Clark is no longer suffering and is surely reading his newspaper and doing his crosswords in heaven. (Love you my Superman, from my heart to yours. I will always love you. Linda). A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Clark are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Diabetes Canada.

Tears are flowing down my cheeks as I send my condolences to you Linda, and to Clark's family whom I never had the pleasure of meeting. A kinder gentle person there cannot be. He was the love of your Life, Linda, and I know first hand the loss and anguish you are trying to comprehend. Thank God his pain is over. Try to capture some moments of peace for your soul from this realization. Love you Linda. George's Grandma.
