Aunt Clare was a wonderful lady. She was lovely to visit when I travelled to Canada and later She helped care for my father Aidan when he was passing away. RIP, Aidan and Karen Herdman

Fond memories of Aunt Clare. I still have a doll she gave me on one of her visits back to Ireland when I was a child. May she Rest in Peace. Thinking of all her family at this sad time.

I have lovely memories of Aunt Clare when she lived in Ireland and again when I visited her in Canada. She had the loveliest smile and a very kind heart. I'm sure she will be sadly missed by all her family. My sincere condolences to all her family who I know she loved dearly. Ann & Mike Harvey ( Hegarty )

I am so honored to have had my Nana in my life, I am heartbroken but I know my Nana is with my Papa, and their spirit is with me everyday. The things I will miss are the days I had with my Nana - going for walks with my Nana, braiding my Nana's hair, and running in the backyard. But perhaps the thing I miss most is visiting my Nana nearly everyday. I love and miss my grandmother everyday, but I am confident on saying she is now reunited with my Papa in the afterlife. love - Siobhan Maharaj

All that I am, or will ever be, is because of you mama. You loved and supported me my whole life. You helped me to realize that Michiko was, is and always will be my soul mate. You accepted me for who I am, without question. Your loss to me cannot be measured. My only consolation is that I might see you again, even for a moment, after I too leave this world someday.

~ Damien Maharaj

Mama, you were not just my mother in law, you were my friend. We talked, laughed and even cried together. I was 20 when I met you for the first time. I was new to Canada, and didn't have any family here. You worried and cared about me. While your children were at their school, you told me how you met Papa and fell in love with him. Well, that story is secret between you and me, but I know your love story will be continued in heaven. As you warned me about Damien before we got married, he is stubborn but kind. I know his kindness is coming from you. Yes, he has a heart of gold as you said. You don't need to worry about Damien. I will take care of him. This is my last promise to you. You can rest in peace. Bye for now.

~ Michiko Maharaj

The angel came for Mama much sooner than I expected, but in my heart she will always be as I loved her dearly. I will cherish the years spent with her as the wonderful person who always believed in me in a way that no one else seemed to. She was my sanctuary. She's now in heaven with the angels and one of them has taken my place. Mama will continue to be in the hearts of those whose lives she touched in so many ways. She was well loved by all of us and I know she's watching over us and reminding us that she's at a better place, so rest in peace Mama, our love and memories of you we'll forever hold dear.
