Chelsea Christina Lynch

October 15, 2022

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, Chelsea Christina Lynch. Chelsea passed suddenly at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario. We are truly devastated with her passing.

Cherished daughter of Stacey Colquhoun (Steve) and Dan Lynch. Loving sister of Madison and Ashley. Dear granddaughter of John Tennant (Barb Anderson) and Pat + Angus Colquhoun. Predeceased by grandparents Dorothy + Bev Major, and Don + Judy Bini.

Chelsea was employed at Canada Life and loved her new role as a legal administrative coordinator.

Over the past few years, she was an active member of the gifting ninja’s and will be fondly remembered as, “the Spidey Ninja”.  Wearing her mask and Spiderman shirt spreading sunshine and laughter to those around her.

She was a lover of animals and brought home many a stray to join our family.  She would tell you that she was a dog person but her kind and generous soul adopted her grandmother Bini’s cats after her passing.

Chelsea always loved a celebration and pitched in wherever she could.  She became quite a good cook and her offerings for family gatherings were always delicious.

She will be missed by all of those who had the privilege of knowing her.  Heaven gained another angel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road, North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation an hour prior.

For those unable to attend in-person, a livestream is available. Please click here to register for Chelsea’s service being held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Animal Aide of St. Thomas or the Humane Society London & Middlesex.

Chelsea was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She had a sweet spirit and a caring heart. She loved to bring us daily laughs with memes she'd found online and was always the first to offer a shoulder when needed. I can't believe you're gone. It was an honor to know you. I'll always hold you in my heart beautiful girl.

Chelsea was such an amazing person and always found a way to see the best in people. She was wonderful to be around. She could find a way to make you smile and matter. She was one the most supportive and caring person I have known in my life. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

To Chelsea's family, I am one of the lawyers that worked with Chelsea. Although only with us a short time, she made an impression on all of us. I know you already know this about her, but she was always so enthusiastic, full of smiles, kind, and eager to please. She was also a quick learner and very intelligent. We both are animal lovers, and enjoyed sharing stories about our pets and seeing them onscreen when having Teams calls from home. It takes a special heart to welcome and care for animals in your home. We all really enjoyed her being part of our team and were just devastated to hear of her passing. I know there is nothing I can say to ease your pain. But I want you to know that your daughter, sister, granddaughter - whatever she was for you in your family - was a shining light and definitely will not be forgotten by those who knew her. Sincerely, Victoria

I am so sorry for your loss. Chelsea was my colleague and was one of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve ever known. She helped me throughout my tenure and was so loving and welcoming when I joined the team. She had such great ideas on our fun committee meetings. I am out of words. She always went above and beyond personally and professionally for her teammates. Sharing our virtual Christmas photo.
