Charles Maxwell Goble

Peacefully at Highview Residences, London, on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 in his 92nd year. A devoted husband to Audrey Goble (née Norton); loving father to Sharon Adamson (Bob), Dawn Goble and Monte Goble (Cindy); cherished grandfather to Jason (Katherine), Todd (Teresa), Christopher (Katrina), Bradley, Jennifer (Ben), Michael and Grace; great-grandfather to Aden, Cole, Emma, Hannah, Jaime, Jackson, Gabriella, Mackenzie, Kaitlyn and Alyssa; and brother to Marjorie Firby. Predeceased by his beloved granddaughter, Michelle Belliveau. Max was a prolific entrepreneur who built many businesses that reflected his love for automobiles. He started his career at Central Chevrolet in London as a new car salesman and was recognized as one of General Motors’ best salesmen in Canada. In 1968, he founded Trim-Gard Company Limited, a plastic extrusion company that manufactured automotive body side moldings. Max travelled the world representing Trim-Gard and the company to this day sells product to countries all over the world. Later on in his career, he owned a Honda car dealership in Woodstock. Max mentored many who went on to great success of their own. He was a very charismatic, people person. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4th, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 5th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Max are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex.

Our condolences sent to all the Goble family, he surely will be missed,I met Max and Monte when they hired me to work for them when they opened London Plastic. I never worked for such incredible men in all my years. It saddens us to hear the sad news. May god be with all of your family through theses sad times. We will never forget him. Dearest Monte, Cindy, Michael and Grace, So very sorry that our dear dad, father-in-law and grandfather has passed away . Thinking of you all.
