Charles Bonello
July 31, 2023
It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” Bonello on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the age of 77. Devoted husband of Marilyn Bonello for 52 years. Proud father and grandfather of Julie and Mike Peters (Matthew and Avery), Ryan and Lisa Bonello (Sasha and Evan), and Carl and Simone Bonello (Scarlett and Alexis).
Chuck enjoyed spending time with family and friends, often with a bottle of wine, after sailing, golfing, fishing, camping or playing pickleball.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gemming Tu, as well as nurses Deb and Nancy, and Dr. Achtar from Bayshore Home Care Solutions for their compassion and support.
In keeping with Chuck’s wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North. A private family gathering will take place. Memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army.

Marilyn, we are so very sorry for your loss. Charles will be so missed. Good neighbours and lovely memories spent in each others backyards and over the fence as well as many driveway chats. Charles was a lovely man. You are in our thoughts. 🤗
Marilyn, please know I am thinking of you and hope that you are able to find some comfort in the memories you and your husband made together. May you be surrounded by support from your family and friends. Hugs. Lesley
Marilyn and family, we are so sorry to hear of your loved one's passing. May your memories of times together help to ease the heartache. Our deepest condolences.
To: Marilyn and all your family, I remember from back in the Jean Vanier days of our boys being in school together, what fun times the boys would have, whether it be playing soccer or just horsing around, like boys will always do. Marilyn, I also recall going to Les Miserables in Toronto with you, when Charles was unable to make it that day. Happy Times. I wish you all many happy memories and knowing that friends care, will help to sustain you through this difficult time in your lives. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
To Jean and myself, Charles was both a neighbour and a friend. The close proximity of the Bonellos to our home made for easy interchange of casual conversation as well as the opportunity to occasionally partake of meals and a few libations at each other’s homes, which we always enjoyed. We were saddened by Charles’ passing, having lost a good friend We extend our sincere condolences to Marilyn and the Bonello children. Charles was a decent, good man and May He Rest in Peace.

Dear Marilyn and family. Please accept my belated condolences on the passing of Charles (just found out). Charles was my first manager at CPC and I remember him well with fondness and respect. He was a good man as you know. It seems like only yesterday when we celebrated his retirement. No doubt he very much enjoyed all of those grandkids. Wishing you strength. Michael (Mike) Leutheusser.
