Caroline will be greatly missed by her boys, family, friends and of course the "Grey's gang". Her strength and determination is a gift she gave us all. We will always remember the laughter, great food and time together over the last few years. Rest in peace Sweet Caroline.
Gillian, I remember Caroline as a young girl following you around when you played at our home. She was such a sweet little person and I know you must miss her terribly. Don and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family on your unfathomable loss.
We would like to express our sympathy to Caroline's family. We are so very sorry to hear of your loss. You are in our thoughts. With love: Destiny, Derek, Aayla.
My deepest sympathy to Caroline's family, they are extremely courageous and loving individuals who supported Caroline and the boys extensively during a lengthy and difficult illness. I will always be grateful to have known this family as they truly represent the true meaning of dedication, love and support. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this most difficult time of loss.
I am deeply saddened at the loss of such a young wonderful mother. I had the pleasure of knowing Caroline through her boys as I taught both Blake and Logan in their Kindergarten years at Jean Vanier. They will have only wonderful memories I'm certain of their mother and will be a tribute to her in the years to come. Love and Hugs to Blake and Logan from Mrs. Miller.
Our deep sympathy goes out to our friends Bea and Peter and the rest of the family in this time of loss. We had only met Caroline a few times, but as friends of Bea and Peter we have heard stories of their family for over 20 years now. The stories used to be filled with laughter - over the past three years they were filled with hope, questions, fear, grief but always over riding all of that, love. The devotion of Bea and Peter and Gillian and Bruce in their support of Caroline and the boys through the heart breaking and difficult years of her illness are a testament to love, a testament family and a daily act of bravery as together they faced and handled the unwanted difficulties and challenges that came along with the cruel progression of Caroline's illness. Blake and Logan, your grandparents have told us many stories of your mother's devotion to you both, of the joy you two brought into her life and of the depth of her love for you. Later, when you are older, you will hear stories about mountain climbers and athletes and strong determined people of all sorts. In her fight to be with you boys, your dear mom climbed Mount Everest over and over again. She was brave and strong and determined and her love for you two was her strength. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. With love, Susan and Rich Barnett
Dear, sweet, beloved Caroline. You are a gem. I'm so glad we've become friends and I'll miss you more than you'll know. You will always be my idol for the wonderful passion with which you lived your life. I Love you dear sweet friend!! Blake and Logan, you were blessed with such an amazing mother who loved you very much. Please know that the Benko family is always here for you. My thoughts and prayers are with the boys, Gill, Bea and the family right now.
My deepest condolescences to Caroline's family. I remember Caroline from our short time together in Whitehills when we were young girls. We met at Emily Carr Public School. Over the years I ran into Caroline a few times, not in recent years. I remember her being quite shy; however, when you got to know her she always had a smile and a laugh. I have very fond memories from a young age of Caroline.
Caroline must mean love, strength and determination. Caroline your love and strength the last couple of years gave everyone who you loved a gift. The gift of time to create more memories and special moments with you, moments never to be forgotten. We will miss you....Blake and Logan remember how proud she was of both of you and how much she loves you. She will always be with you. She is one special angel watching over you! Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time!
Although I never had the honour of meeting Caroline or your family, I know that she is a a wonderful person from the stories that my fellow teachers at Jean Vanier spoke about. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.
Gill and famil, although the rest of us are left with a feeling of emptyness, just know that Caroline is in a place of peace,. You are a wonderful sister and I admire your strength throughout this process. May your family find comfort in knowing that heaven has a new angel.
