Marion, I was so sad to hear about Carl's passing. I will always remember my cousin Carl; however he was more of a brother to me. We grew up together & he will always have a special place in my heart. I cherish the times that we went hunting & fishing together, and of course I can't forget our chasing girls together also. Of our many trips that we took together, I especially remember our trip to Los Angeles with my Mom & Dad. We were teenagers & enthralled with Hollywood. We met Jon Hodiack, Abbott & Costello, and others. I was a trip I will never forget. Our condolences go to you and your family. Tom & Bev

Great Aunt Marion and family, I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Although I have not seen him in many years my memories of uncle Carl are joking around and laughing, he always had a smile on his face. Along with my grandmother Wanda they always were very cheerful people and had a great sense of humor. He liked to kid around and had told me lots of stories when I was young and I could never tell which ones were real. Please except my deepest condolences. He will never be forgotten.

Dear Deb and Marion - so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. Whenever I whistle to get a customer's attention, I remember that our family whistle ended on an "up" note, your family's on a "down " note. It was an important way to hail the family back home, our signature tones. And when I hear a song by The Association, I remember the yellow Galaxie convertible we rode in, Carl driving. to take Deb and I to our first concert at Alumni Hall so many years ago. Great memories. Uncle Carl will surely be missed. Like so many of our family, I too have fond memories of Uncle Carl which I have shared with our son. Stories of him will be passed on for generations! So sorry Auntie Marion, to hear of uncle Carl's passing. Our condolences to you, Debbie and your family. Uncle Carl brought wonderful colour to every Steels family get together, few though they may have been. I will always remember his mischievous twinkling eyes.

Dearest Marion, I am so sad to hear that your loving husband, Carl, has passed away. My family has always held Carl in great esteem. My brother and mom have told me many stories from the past about the fun times they had with Carl. Carl visited us at our cottage in the 90s when my mother and brother were there. It was so nice to see him. Please accept my deepest condolences. Carl will, forever, be remembered.
