Saddened to read of "Buddy's" passing in our local newspaper. We started Grade 1 together at Beaverbrook School and onward. It is great that Buddy accomplished so much in life and has left his mark in all that he did. My sincere condolences to his daughter, Tracey, and family and his extended family, the Reeds, his friends both here in Moncton and his home area. Eileen
So sorry to hear of Bud's passing.
Will be missed by all.
Budd Maynard was a champion for the working man ! On lots of occasions I watched him stick up for ordinary working class people who were at the mercy of "the man " . Along with Jeff Pease we rented the upstairs suite from Budd and Jeanette at the house on Commissioners Rd. after Rick Perpich and Donny Reed moved out . Tracey was very young and adorable and it was like we were part of the family ! Having moved out west years ago the miles separated us but the memories last a life time . God bless Budd and Jeanette and to Tracy my sincerest condolences .
Budd, You always had a way to make everything OK. No problem was a big deal, you would say, just tell them.... this is it! I'll never forget the bond we made, the times you pulled me aside. You let me add Cd's (Elvis) to your Jukebox, those memories will always be. Your friend .... and brother in law Love Ya! Scott
I had the privilege of serving with Bud on the Employment Insurance Board of Referees. He was very well liked (and quite the story teller) by all with whom he served. He will be missed. My deepest sympathy to his family.

It was such a shock to hear of Budd's passing. Budd was an active part of Local 1520 for years, first as a committee man, active member of the London & District Labour Council and later as a CAW Local 1520 active retiree. Budd's sense of humour and commitment to the labour comunity and to the larger community such as United Way will be sadly missed. Brother stand tall and proud you made such a difference.
I was deeply saddened to learn of Budd's passing, and would like to say that he will be greatly missed by all who worked with, knew him, or came in contact with him. A very sad day. Ken Pimlatt.
What a shock, Budd was simply one of the best, he had time for everyone and never failed to give 110% to any worthy cause. A heart and sense of humor as big as they come he will be sorely missed by many. RIP my friend you left your mark with many. Jim and Chris
The world lost another great man who did everything in his power to help out others. A brother who would represent his fellow brother C.A.W. 1520 to no end. Bud you will be truly missed but never forgotten, keep on rockin in that rocking chair. With deep sympathy and sorrow my prayers go out to all of his family, God be with you all.
Life long friend, we went to grade school and high school and had many adventures in our early years. You never forget where you came from and we kept those memories alive. Your light flickered when Jeanette passed and we tried to get you pass it and hopefully your with her again at last. I now stand with Tracy and family in missing someone who meant alot to us in life. So long dear friend. Gary
Sadly missed. A true friend. The loss here on earth will be Heavons blessing. Your wisdom and understanding will be missed by many. Rest in Peace "Brother". Harry F. MacDonald
Condolances to Budd's family. I too will miss this big lovable fellow worker . He made you feel he genuinely had time for you even though you knew you were only one of many, many people he dealt with. Budd was not only served as aUnion Representative he was widely considered as "The Voice" of the workers. He may not be here but his deeds and his musings "From My Rocking Chair" will guarantee that he will always be rememberd. Rock on in peace Budd. You deserve no less.
I cherished the friendship that I had with budd. I will miss him dearly. My prayers and condolences go out to Tracy and family.
Our deepest condolences to Budd's family, especially to you Tracy, Leo, Madeline and Calum, and the Reed family. Our family truly cherished Budd, and will always remember the kindness, friendship, laughter, and sense of family Budd happily demonstrated over the many years we spent time with Budd and Jeanette, and the ‘Reed’ family through all of our travels between Newfoundland and London. We can truly say our faces actually did ‘light-up’ every time we got the first glimpse of Budd...for we always knew to get ready...he was going cause some great bursts of belly laughter! Budd will be missed and will continue to be thought of often with love and touching memories. Our hearts go out to you and our prayers are with you. (Basil, Carol, Donna, Kirk, Connie and families)
Be it playing Santa or just being a Good Samaritan and proud member, your contributions be it physically or monetary to the Byron/Springbank Branch of the RCL will forever be greatly appreciated. You now will once again be with your true love who also left us far to soon.
To Buds family : It was sad to read of Bud's death. When he was about 14 he lived just up the street from a Community Play ground that I worked at . He would 'hang out " with the boys in the neighbor hood ,doing wheelies on their bikes , teasing girls and enjoying life .He was a thoughtful lad with a great sense of humour. I was not surprised to read that he had proved to be a leader at his work place .Those traits were evident even then . My sympathy to his family .
Condolences to the family. We never lost contact from our grade school years in Parkton. A true friend he was. Sharon and I will miss those early morning phone calls.
On behalf of myself and my family I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the Maynard family on the loss of Budd. Please know your in my thoughts at this time. God Bless.
