So sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. His sharp mind, eloquent turn of phrase, sense of humour, joie de vivre and plain old highland- Scot feistiness will all be sorely missed. We cherish the memory of many, many wonderful hours spent in his company.

Even tho' I never had the opportunity to meet Bruce in person I am so grateful that our paths crossed -- via email and snail mail. Bruce was so kind and thoughtful . A great friend of many, many years has left us. Bruce has been a special person in my life. I will miss his wonderful friendship, his wisdom, his laugh, his humour and his sage advice. His passing is a great loss for me personally and for our family.

Sadly, Bruce and I never 'met'. He saw me onstage and contacted me by email to share some insights with me. Was I in for a treat! We emailed back and forth over these last few years and I am in awe of the talent of the man, and of the heart. My deepest sympathies are extended to Emily and Bruce's entire family. He will be remembered fondly.

Such a kind hearted and warm individual. He will be missed. My condolences to his family. He has helped me more than he will ever know.
