FOX, Brian Charles – Peacefully with his family by his side, at LHSC Victoria Hospital, on Friday, September 9th, 2011, Brian Charles Fox, in his 54th year. Beloved husband of Lori (Wildfong). Dearly loved father of Brittany, Jordan and Taylor, all at home. Loving son of Dorothy and the late Fred Fox (2010). Dear brother of Karen Fox and her husband John Cantwell and Linda McGuire and her husband Pat. Dearest uncle of Jason McGuire (Tara Westman) and Justin McGuire. Son-in-law of Isabel and Lawrence Martin and brother-in-law of Brad and Kathy Wildfong. Close cousin of Lorie and Randy Smith and their sons Brad and Johnathan. Cremation has taken place. Visitation for friends and family will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. with a private family memorial service to follow at a later date. Special thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses and Palliative Care “Team” on the 6th Floor at Victoria Hospital. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the L.H.S.F. Cancer Program or Palliative Care Unit.

I was saddened to hear of Brian's passing even though I hadn't seen him in a while because he was one of those people, that just the memory of him could make you smile. Many good times at Montcalm and Irving place. Deepest sympathies to your family from ours.

I shared many memories and years of involvement with Brian in SSE Hockey and he was a great inspiration to the boys he coached and very dedicated to the game. I always enjoyed talking to Brian and your family whenever we crossed paths. He will be missed and my family prayers are with you all.

I am so saddened to hear about Brian's passing. I enjoyed many conversations with him last year when Jordan and Sam (the goalie) played on the same hockey team. I will miss seeing him around the rinks. My sincerest condolences to everyone in his family.
