Brenda Austin (née Clare)

February 8, 2019

Peacefully at home, on Friday, February 8, 2019, Brenda Austin of London, in her 61st year. Cherished Mom of Steven (Ashley), Tara (Tim) and also dear friend of their Dad Randy. Beloved Ma of Clara and Grace, Rowan and Kelton; joining Timara in the stars. Missed by her fur babies, Lily and Quinn. Loved by her East Coast family; many aunts, uncle and cousins. Brenda will be dearly missed by her close friends, as well as brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Daughter of Steve and Hazel Clare, and daughter-in-law of Pat and Joyce Austin. She was a proud seasonal resident of Harbour Side Trailer Park for 39 years. Brenda loved all things Mickey, Elvis Presley, Grease, flip flops and butterflies. She will be lovingly remembered as the paparazzi at any social gathering. She took great joy in creating hats and blankets to give to various NICU departments. Cremation has taken place, and the Celebration of Life will be conducted on a sunnier day. A visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, to forever rest with her Mom and Dad, to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Brenda are asked to consider The Sunshine Foundation of Canada or Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario.
