Suddenly at University Hospital, London, on Friday, May 6th, 2011, Bob Mardlin of London in his 61st year. Beloved husband and best friend of Chris (DeForest) Mardlin. Loving father of Dale (Heather) Mardlin, Dean (Kelly) Mardlin, and Sherry Mardlin, all of London. Loving Grampy of Ruby and Isaac. Cherished son of Edith Eaton and the late Gordon Mardlin and step-son of the late Gordon Eaton. Son-in-law of John (Patty) and the late Bernice DeForest. Dear brother of Bill (Jan) and brother-in-law of Sue (Joe) Husband, Bill (Brenda) DeForest, Dave (Karen) DeForest and Bea DeForest. Will be missed by his four legged friend Buddy. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the Celebration of Bob’s Life will be conducted on Wednesday, May 11th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment at Medway Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the London Humane Society.

Aunt Edith, Chris, Dale, Dean, Sherry and family: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of a very dear family member, a very strong and caring person; one who brought laughter and fond memories to all of us.
